SCIENTIFIC PROGRAMME

The Scientific Programme of Botrytis 2010 is based on thematic sessions, which are aimed to provide a balanced selection of topics on basic and applied research. Prominent researchers have been invited to host session presentations, introduce and conclude the respective session they are hosting. Every session include a number of short oral presentations and some selected and more extensive presentations, (invited lectures).

Session 1: BOTRYTIS IDENTIFICATION, MANAGEMENT, ECOLOGY AND EPIDEMIOLOGY.
Session 2: BIOLOGY AND GENETICS OF BOTRYTIS + SCLEROTINIA.
Session 3: DISEASE MANAGEMENT 1 (Chem. Control).
Session 4: DISEASE MANAGEMENT 2 (Biol. Control).
Session 5: BOTRYTIS"-OMICS".
Session 6: HOST-PATHOGEN INTERACTIONS 1: Fungal virulence factors.
Session 7: HOST-PATHOGEN INTERACTIONS 2: Plant Defence.

INVITED, SHORT ORAL AND POSTER PRESENTATIONS

Presentations will be either invited lectures, oral or by posters. At least one author of each paper must register and pay their registration fee in order for their paper to be included in the Symposium Programme.

Invited lectures

Invited lectures will have a length of 25 minutes and 5 minutes of discussion

Oral presentations

Oral presentations will be restricted to 10 minutes and 5 minutes discussion per speaker will be allowed.

Poster presentations

Posters should be prepared on A0-size (83 x 118 cm) posters in portrait layout. Poster boards and necessary adhesive material will be provided.
