WELCOME COCKTAIL CITY HALL

Meeting point: City hall of Cádiz entrance
The Cocktail Function will take place in the Conference Room of the City Hall of Cádiz. The building was built in 1699 on the old Town Hall and it is the result of two stages. The first one is neoclassical and was started in 1799. The second one is part of the Isabella style, affecting to the inside in 1861.
01 JUNE 2010.- TUESDAY
GUIDE TOUR TO CADIZ AND COCKATIL
Time: 18.15 hr
Meeting point: Symposium Venue entrance (Philosophy and Arts Building)
Divided in groups, you will walk around the city with a tour guide. The tour will take about 2 hours and you will be introduced into the city, its historic, artistic and social aspects, walking by the streets and the most charming places. At the end of the tour, you will have a standing cocktail in Baluarte de los Mártires, an old coast fortress with a stunting sunset and beautiful seascapes.
02 JUNE 2009.- WEDNESDAY
VISIT TO El CORREGIDOR VINEYARD AND BODEGAS GARVEY
Time 17:00 hr
Meeting point: Plaza de España (for delegates accommodated in Hotels situated in City Centre)
A bus in the hall of your hotel will pick you up. Transfer to Bodegas Garvey where you can visit the wine- cellar. Then you will continue visiting El Corregidor vineyard and you could know the current situation of Botrytis in Sherry area. Finally, you can taste regional foods and wines. At the end, transfer by bus to Cádiz.
03 JUNE 2009.- THURSDAY
GUIADED TOUR TO JEREZ AND GALA DINNER IN WINE CELLAR
Time: 17.00 hr
Meeting point: Plaza de España (for delegates accommodated in Hotels situated in City Centre)
A bus in the hall of your hotel will pick you up. Transfer to Jerez de la Frontera, universal renowned city by its wine and its horses. In Jerez, you will visit Regulating Council of Sherry, where you will enjoy a Guided Sherry Wine Tasting. Then you will continue visiting the wine cellar of Domecq. It includes the guided visit and finally the gala dinner. At the end, transfer by bus to Cádiz
